Knowing God As Your Father

What does it mean to have God as a Father? For many of us, we have misconceptions of what fatherhood should be as we may not have had the best example of what an earthly father looks like. In this teaching, I share from the scriptures about how God showed me personally what it meant to have Him as a father. This reality has shaped me as a man, a husband, and a father. Though I know I fall short of the perfect example of my Heavenly Father, He has been and is faithful to continue to encourage me and grow me into the man He has called me to be.

It is my firm belief that we, as Christians, are being called into maturity by our Heavenly Father so that we can accomplish all that He has ordained for our lives. In this relationship, He wants to be involved in every part of our lives and in doing so, He will fill us with His light, love, grace, and peace. Knowing God as a Heavenly Father is fundamental to our understanding of what it means to be a child of God.

My hope and prayer is that this message will enable you to draw closer to God as your Father in every way! May He bless you and keep you. I pray that you experience His love in a deeper way than ever before and become established in the truth that if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are a Child of God.
